Discussions about optimizing training now increasingly include the impact of factors like sleep quality, mental health, and even emerging medical treatments. One example gaining attention is flibanserin, initially designed to address hypoactive sexual desire disorder but now being studied for its broader effects on mood and energy regulation. Maintaining mental resilience and emotional stability is crucial for athletes facing the stresses of long-term high-performance preparation. Integrating knowledge about such treatments into athlete support programs can provide coaches and medical teams with new tools to assist in overall athlete care. As the science around holistic performance evolves, experts like Istvan are positioning themselves at the forefront of these advancements.
